The Two Different Streams of Gnosticism
There are two streams coming from the historical Jesus, his brother James. The only thing that survives in the New Testament would help us to recover their two things. There's not one Christian element in the book of James. How could there be a letter in the New testament written by the head of the movement, and there's not oneChristian element except a reference to Jesus as the Messiah?
