The hermit is the second subtype of borderline personality disorder. The typical emotions that stem from the non borderline person's thoughts are: I feel trapped and isolated by their hermit's fear. When a reality from treatment, that is what the borderline needs to be able to do is to live, it confront the outside world and have the confidence to do so.
