The First Step Back on Mass Shooting Penalties

I will always stand for the Second Amendment right of the American people to keep in bear arms. But I think we've got to get a lot tougher on people doing these mass shootings. And if it takes federal legislation and federal funding, we ought to fund an armed and trained security guard at every public and private school in America. We should have expedited due process that ensures that anyone that engages in a mass shooting in this country knows that they will meet their fate within a year and a half.
