Dean Canan, the Inventor of the Saguay
Dean Canan was disappointed with the number of kids, and particularly women and minorities, who were not considering ience and technology careers or further education in those fields. He says that this is the invention that he's most proud of, and predicts that participants will be responsible for significant technology advances in years to come. The first robotic competition kicked off in 19 92, even though they had the idea back in 89.
