Is There a Way to Empower the Individual Worker?

The goal of dows is to disempower the individual worker while empowering the organization itself, right? This has been the classic move for gig work for the last decade. In general, i am struggling to even conceive of a way in which dows meaningfully empower laborers in our environment. It's pure prophet maximalism. The only thing they care about is walking away with more money than they had before.
