Wellington, a Man of Contradictions
Wellington thought that the common people of england, wele scummer the earth as well. It's often said he preferred talent with a title to just plain talent. But when it came to his life with his wife and his children, just an awful husband and an absent father. His first two children were born just before he went out to spain and portugal. He has a whole string of mistresses, very publicly. In one instance, one of his mistresses tries to blackmail him, and this leads to a famous quote where he says, publish and be damned because she's threatening to publish letters between the two of them.
