After Sun

The character of Callum was, in some ways, the character that he is, and he certainly was struggling. That was always true. His struggle just wasn't legible to the audience. There wasn't enough to connect with in terms of him as a character. And then legibility of Callum continued to be something that we grappled with in the edit. It was still something that took a lot for finding. I'm sure some people still have that problem with Final Cut,. But fortunately, they seem to be in more of a minority than I think we ever expected to be true.
