Jesse: Is it the evolutionary psychologists who need to do a better job at explaining this or is it just the masses that are misapplying rules? Jesse: I think there's this assumption that simply by giving any recognition to evolutionary interpretations, you are negating the role of other causes. There is kind of a bunker mentality among even really good evolutionary psychologists, he says.
