The difference between softwar engineer, or softer developer, and devops is so many. The big things that stands out is not really the difference in the work that you do, but who your customer is. For me, all the things get deployed on a w s. So i would say the c i c d is probably the the base line. And then also, for me, at least, comes the sight reliability.
