A lot of the stuff that comes from the Dart VM is actually coming from Erlang. I don't think you have immutable data necessarily in Dart, so you can't really handle that because if something changes, then you're going to be screwed,. This is why I think the issue that comes with way to copy everything could be such a bigger problem.
