The Orion's crew tossed overboard 11 waterproof duffel bags containing a total of 255 kilos of cocaine, worth about $80 million. UK anti-drug police had been monitoring the operation and they arrested the men on the Galois along with an accomplice. The following year, all five were sentenced to lengthy prison terms.
