The January 6 Investigation Is Going to Be Shut Down, Right?

Congressman Scott Perry chairs something called the House Freedom Caucus, which is a powerful group of far right Republicans. It may also be the entity that determines who gets to be the next Republican Speaker of the House. The January 6 investigation has a very short window of time in which to finish their work and publish their findings to the public. They reportedly met last night to discuss whether we're going to make criminal referrals to the Justice Department.
