He has been threatened multiple times by the Senate he needs to return for trial and he just keeps ignoring it and conquering more and more. He is already there already heavily incentivized to kind of get rid of this guy who is causing a lot of social problems for them political problems for them at home even though he's winning glory abroad. The thing is he's victories in Gaul made not only the Roman state wealthy itself but also his own people right so he sees his that sees himself as an outcast if he doesn't succeed from personal standpoint nisa succeed he stands to be exiled and be stripped of everything.
