What Are the Expected Cultural Differences?

There was a resurgence of cultural psychology around the 80s and 90s. But some studies found that scales were not working, which led to questions about whether people are more collectivistic in America or China. David Perry: To me, pleasure is spending time with others to measure collectivism. And so when I came along  with my experience in living in China and this background of these scales not working, I sort of took one piece from this sort of relationships and then another piece from responsibilities and family.
