A clip from the wonderful 2016 film The Girl with all the gifts which is directed by Colm McCarthy written by Mike Harry based on his own novel And starring Gemma Arsten, Patty Considine, Glenn Close and Senya Nanyua. There was something about the idea of this short story and the character That led him to develop it a bit more. He described how I kept thinking about Melanie and I couldn't get away from the feeling that there was more to her story It's not something that's happened to me before.
