Lincoln's future wife, Mary Todd plays a role in this. She and a friend decided to follow Abe Lincoln's precedent and they doubled down on the joke. They kept trying to publish stuff with these fake names who go by Rebecca or Aunt Becca. This is not to be confused with some kind of a spersion on my actual aunt, my Aunt Beke. Wasn't there Aunt Beke also a character in Full House? I think that's right.
