i am of somewhat mixed mind on this. Economists are too often expected to be able to predict the future, especially when one has to contend with a possible outbreak of wars and that sort of thing. But i think for now, lease th market signals and agen my belief in the dollars roll should give us some comfort. I do think that the biden reaction, the fiscal response to covid was over kill. The only reason i can say that without feeling self conscious is because i thought so at the time. It wasn't at all obvious just how severe the bottle neck would become.
