Is There a Transformer in AI Research?
In 10 years, if you're going to rewrite artificial natural intelligence would. Would you be able to include a story about how transformers map onto and or were inspired by neuroscience? I ask because I didn't have an answer right. So I give you lots of examples of where ideas kind of co emerged. Maybe the transformer is going to be yet another tool from AI research that gets co opted and used to understand the brain.
