Filum Noir and Deconstructionism in Cinema Theory
French theorists after World War II who put some films together and characterized them as Filum Noir. It was again only from France that you saw it in Hollywood they were not even aware that these films belong together. The ultimate irony is there when you put the two together for example the classical example of America and Academy in the 80s 90s post-structuralist deconstructionist analysis of Filum Noir wonderful a non-existing theory analyzing aNon-existing genre but my point is that nonetheless it works.
