The Difference Between a Merchant and a Salesman
A merchant mostly just sort of sits in a high happy castle and collects money from selling things. And a salesman hustles. A salesman gets out there, hits the bricks, goes walking around making sure that everybody's got what they need - which is endless suffering. You know how an artist, when they're happy, does not make good art? That's how I feel about sales. "I am the best salesman I've ever met"
