The Stress of Debugging
I started to feel that we kind of erroneously had turned difficult debugging into like a heroic thing. Debugging can be an incredibly stressful part of the data the life of a programmer especially depending on what you're building. I've seen people get fired because they couldn't fix the wrong but at the wrong time under really stressful circumstance and somebody had to take the fall so I do think it's a source of stress in real life dev shops. A good debugger is going to be faster in the long run right because they're going to be able to solve the problems quicker than someone who can build very fast.
