William Anderson Hatfield Clan followed some of the same roads as Rannell McCoy's Clan. The two men had very different personal journeys. Like Rannell, Anderson's grandfather moved his family from Western Virginia to Eastern Kentucky. Both families intermingled and intermarried; Tug River was not a firm dividing line.
