'Chile's a Very Different Country

Chile is a very different country, politically and economically, to pretty much every other country in the book. And so for that reason, it's seen, especially by the soviets, as offering, potentially, a model beyond the cold war stalem towards social transformation in the west. But there's always a question of, o can you actually get there? Can you really make revolution just through parliamentary means? Or when you have to make so many compromises that by the time you got to power, the gena would be unrecognizable. You know, this is a very important test case - if there is an actual parliamentary path or not.
