The Senate Bill Adds Clarity to the Process of Opposition
The Senate bill would require one-fifth of each chamber to lodge a cognizable objection. If that threshold is reached, it triggers a similar process of the chambers separating and voting by majority vote on whether or not to sustain an objection.
