There's a lot that I think those of us who have followed the story knew but is probably new news to those who haven't followed it obsessively like we have. The CIA was told, I believe in mid-2016, that the Russians were themselves aware of a plan by Hillary to peddle nonsense about collusion with Trump and then use that to vilify him and win the presidential election.
