The Three Mystery of the Philosophy of Math
We've got these mathematical objects existing fully, really, at least as really as the stuff around us and ourselves. How do we somehow get access to this Platonic world and know about it? And then why is it that thinking about these things that are in this other world is at all useful for building airplanes or shooting rocks from cannons? So basically, I mean, puzzle comes from a fact that they're really in this completely different kind of thing - yet somehow, we have knowledge of them and they're useful.
