It's still likely we'll see some level of yen strength this year due to number one, a higher likelihood of the Fed reaching its terminal rate. The G7 summit will be held for three days in Japan from next Friday and there are speculations that the Prime Minister Kishida may dissolve the Parliament after this summit. We will pay attention to any news flows related to the dissolution and the potential for a snap election in Japan.
