robert long: I've been doing philosophy for a good many years at this point. i got seriously into that at some point during college, when i read a book by douglas hofstatter a called i am a strange loop. Since being at the future of humanity institute, i've been trying to make progress on these extremely difficult questions about consciousness and sentiente in general. Yea!
