The Relationship Between Skin Lesions and a New Diagnose of Leukemia

Alec: How can we directly link perhaps a new diagnosis of leukemia with, with skin lesions? Alec: There's what we call leukemia cutis. So when you do a biopsy, you see the same blast cells that you may see in the peripheral blood or in the bone marrow. You can also get a condition called sweet syndrome. Otherwise known as acute neutrophilia dermatosis and sweet syndrome can happen for many different illnesses,. but leukemia is certainly one of them.
