Migrating From Monoliths to Microservices

I moved to the US eight years ago and started to work at a local company in Philly when had an amazing time in there, moved to this revolution. Last year I switched jobs and came to Stripe like I was looking for a different challenge. Worked on teams that are building features to customers instead of like an internal team that's building infrastructure and platform. So that's how I ended up working on copyright car payments in here. You're sort of an expert on the migration from monoliths and microservices. What would you say are the most important things people should keep in mind when they're making that migration?
