The Intense Immune System Is More Ancient
The basic textbook notion of immunity is that the imune system differentiates self from non self. The problem with this model is that no one has been able to agree on what the self is. It turns out that cells and molecules are not selves. They are cells and molecules. And i believe that the self has been bolerized against a more anua's view of immune activation. We call it autoomune disease, but its so a normal function for humans.
