The Infinite Game

In an infinite game, the goal is just to keep playing. I think that what is challenging for people to understand is that you can want to win and play as hard as possible in a finite game. That's true if you win too, right? This prevents you from becoming a crazy egomaniac. The only failure would be if Janus decided this hurt too much, so I'm never going to play again. It's clear that when he is playing the game, all he wants to do is crush it and win.
