"There's two things that can happen. If we want to be better custodians, and not just care about it when it's convenient," he says. "The other end is something like meaty, right? And I'm sure there's a whole host of other things too." There are ways to raise animals for meat production that actually benefit back to the land as far as energy or resource-intensive productions go,. But those are more energy or resource intensive as far as producing each animal into an efficient source of food. The first gen isn't going anywhere; It's actually here or there.
