The Difference Between Epileptoform Seizures and Non-Epileptic Attacks
The take home really is be kind to these patients. They are not putting it on. This is a real disorder. And I think also then once the event has ceased, there can be some really important things to do with the psychological presentation. So telling patients they're in a safe place, you're going to take care of them and that you're not going to do anything painful or distressing. But those things that give you that gut feeling that it isn't an epileptoform seizure, what are those things that we're realizing in those presentations?
