I think what happened is I had inherited a very transcendental spiritual attitude about the world that made me very anxious around getting paid for my work. And so no wonder the dream ego in your repeated dream is defended against this and how magical and life changing it can be. Jung calls it a new situation. You were in a new psychic situation after your act of imagination. Yes. Well, you know, the interesting thing too is that in the dream, the guy sneaking up the stairs kind of was an image, maybe of this aggressive capacity.
