This piece was written probably in 1890. Sati became a great favourite later on into the 20th century, of really experimental composers like John Cage. For me, that's about keeping it in pervisatory. This is not music, this is rigid and square. It's spiritual, and it's made up in the moment,. And it's simple, but you can play it in any way that you the performer likes.
