I think my parents really instilled in me that I'm going to be confident in my own ways of doing things regardless of if anything outside agrees with it or not. My mom for sure instilled that I'm different and that it's okay and that I should honor it because I'm happy with it so these new things that come out my curiosity towards any new technology or any new ways of being that I see that I'm curious about is why I take selfies. People hate on what's different until it works and then they call that person the pioneer, he says. He doesn't have a same experience of like I don't consciously remember my mom reinforcing all that shit into me
