I still track in Pro Tools as if I was using tape. Why am I going to print a hi hat in the red when I got a pull at 50 dB down anyway and I'm dithering back down? So you might as well print it at minus 10 if does that make sense? Oh, yeah. We have to print specific stems for specific DSPs these days. I think that's opening up a big whole can of worms and debate. Like what happened to image and space and depth and I know so I have a song called Illusion of Bliss on Alicia's record.
