The Effect of a Small Pricing Tier on Freemium Users
The company used to have a small pricing tier so that we freemium users could like have like a little nice like little jump pad. And then you could jump to 99, which felt like a very big jump. Well, at some point last year, the company removed the small tier. So what ended up happening was they ended up with a very bloated back end ofFreemium users and not enough people jumping to the 99 plan. But anyway, got to geek out on pricing a little bit. We just had an episode of price about pricing here lately. Never compare your pricing to your competitors pricing because you never know what version of pricing that is.
