The Emperor's a Tool of the Military Dilema

When i was a kid the histories taught that the emperor during the second world war was like a figure head, sort of to a military dictatorship. But nowadays, there are pullets, surprise winning histories by historians like herbert p ta suggest that that's not true. So maybe the way you make the emperor an ok figure is to launder his past by saying, hey, listen, he was a tool of the military dictatorship. He didn't have any power but maybe he did.
