Is the Book Out of Date?
I didn't feel very fast when I was writing it. Some of the material is part of a course which I teach. The ideas come out in machine learning and AI research and it takes a while for them to percolate through into the wider community. And that process, you know, some of the models and ideas which are described in the book will be news to a lot of people working in mainstream neuroscience. So obviously I would love people to read it. It's not out of date.
