Introduction
The first Marxist organization was established in 1852 in the United States. It would only be around 1900 that women would enter these types of spaces, socialist organizations and this came about largely through their own efforts. So some of these women including Pauline Newman, Rose Schneiderman, they bridge the gap between working class issues and the struggle for the vote for women.
