Tarkar: I think my basic attitude is that the diet that we evolved for is going to be the one that we function best on. And so, you know, given that we live in the modern era, then there may be tweaks and hacks and things that one needs to do to get back to a more ancestrally appropriate diet. We both agree that downregulated pyruvate dehydrogenase is a huge problem. Tarkar: That's what seems to drive conditions like cancer, which we're all worried about.
