I think every tutor I've ever had and I don't even know how many there are at this point has also been a language learner. They understand it's so much deeper than any type of teacher anyone who wants to teach is amazing but knowing I have that connection with the person deeply understands that mistakes are embarrassing is really really helpful. Talking about different subjects allows you to use other sentence structure other vocabulary, which happens when you talk about different subjects. Sometimes I feel like a bit like a therapist because I'm listening to their stories I'm trying to give advice but I don't mind because it's part of life of course.
