Abram was driven by fear and made a decision that actually sinned against God. This was a dark blotch on Abram's marriage and on his legacy. Sometimes when we're afraid and not thinking clearly, we can fall into that same trap. We tell the Lord to God, I believe that you love me but I've got to take care of myself.
