The History of Floppy Disks

Jenna Kolopes: While the format is more or less obsolete, I'm going to talk about floppy disks for a bit. A lot of people thought they were called floppy disks because the outer sheath of the disk itself was flexible. She says you wouldn't be able to use them later because you'd mangle the disk inside and it would no longer spin properly inside a computer.
