Is There a Gap Between Blacks and Whites?
In the average school district, white students scored an average of one point, five to two grade levels higher than black students. In these last four decades, the cold war has ended and the american economy has more than doubled in size. The government cannot make families stay together; it can't influence a culture that may encourage behaviors that are counter productive. So a, in a way, the ball is in our court. Now, i speak of african Americanans. We have our work cut out for ourselves,. educating our children and taking care of our own business.
