Design Questioning and the Empathy Process
The empathy process reifies class and power structures. It silences the recipient so that we can't express critique or thought about it. We are expected to only be grateful. Instead of expressing gratitude, it is our role to ask the hard questions and to critique. That's what design questioning really represents.
