Comedy Can Be a Lot of Competition and Very Negative

I've never understood the competitive nature of comedy, which is to entertain the audience. That's my biggest gripe. Comedians who are striving to show you how funny they are instead of going on stage and trying to entertain the audience that doesn't mean necessarily make them laugh. So be prepared, be willing to not berate them if they're not giving you the response you think you deserve. You're tired. It's the first show Friday. Yeah.
