Did India Trade More With Southeast Asia Than in the Arabian Sea?

There has been deliberate neglect of the history of the Native American people, says Bapan Sarkar. The story may be quite complex but it is clear that there were waves of migrations from Eastern Asia into the Americas. Indian culture seems to have spread primarily through trade in Southeast Asia, but didn't happen in the Arabian Peninsula or the coastal regions of Eastern Africa and Madagascar.
